1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
illusion8 helps creators generate procedural ambiguous rotation illusion videos and publish them as YouTube Shorts on a schedule. Features include channel management, posting schedules, caption configuration, and automated rendering and uploads.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice of material changes that affect your use of paid features.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid features are billed on a subscription basis through Stripe. Pricing is $8 per channel slot per month. Every 8th channel slot is included at no additional charge (for example, 7 paid slots allow up to 8 connected channels).
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to paid features until then.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice. Price changes apply to subsequent billing periods.
5. YouTube integration
To use auto-posting features, you must connect a YouTube channel through Google OAuth and comply with YouTube's Terms of Service, YouTube API Services Terms of Service, and applicable Google policies.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to connect each channel and to publish content to it. You may disconnect a channel at any time from your dashboard. We are not responsible for actions taken by YouTube, including content moderation, monetization decisions, strikes, or account restrictions.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
- Connect channels you do not own or have authorization to manage
- Attempt to bypass usage limits, security controls, or billing requirements
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure
- Upload or generate content that infringes intellectual property or other rights
- Use the Service to spam, mislead viewers, or violate platform policies
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable third-party platform rules.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, branding, design, and documentation, is owned by illusion8 and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets except as needed to use the Service as intended.
8. Generated content and licenses
Videos generated through the Service are created for your connected channels based on your settings. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and applicable platform rules, you retain rights to the content published to channels you own or control.
You grant us a limited license to generate, process, store, and upload content on your behalf solely to operate the Service. We may use aggregated and anonymized usage data to improve the product.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee specific view counts, subscriber growth, monetization approval, rendering times, upload success, or uninterrupted availability. Automated posting depends on third-party platforms and your account configuration.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ILLUSION8 AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless illusion8 and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your connected channels, content you publish, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or if continued provision of the Service becomes impractical or unlawful.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
